Yonkers is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Yonkers is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Small ice cream shop with Latin-influenced flavors. The ice cream was just okay - not especially rich or creamy - but it's a fun stop if you want Bizcocho or Morir y Sonando flavored treats. The cookies also look very good, and they serve banana pudding and alcohol-infused ice creams, as well.

Lost Borough is an incredibly special ice cream place located on a cute stream in downtown Yonkers. Its flavors include rare gems like brigadeiro and chinola. Its staff is welcoming and gracious. And the prices are gloriously affordable. Did I mention the free toppings? If you are passing anywhere near Yonkers, this is a must stop.

I went here for the first time, on Saturday to get icecream with the kids and I must say we enjoyed every ounce of it. They have multiple ice-cream flavors, and they are all delicious. They also sell different types of cookies and they were just as good. We got the chocolate chip and cranberry Oatmeal cookie I think. The cookies were so fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend this ice cream spot, without a doubt. The store is very small but cozy, there isn't any seating inside to sit, but you can definitely sit across the street in the park and enjoy your ice-cream, which is exactly what we did. It was a beautiful day and we drove by got ice-cream and when across the street to sit. The 2 gentlemen working that day was very polite and kind. The price for the ice-cream is very reasonable. I was shocked! Overall, I will be going back all summer for ice-cream. Btw they sell sorbet but didn't have any at the time. Apparently it sells out quickly.

This place is absolutely amazing ! My mom and I enjoyed our very first visit this Thursday passed! It was exciting to step into a place that is Bori-Dominican owned and to see that reflected in the flavors, the decor and celebrated by the staff who was helping us. Leo and Ariel were absolutely charming and knowledgeable . They seemed genuinely happy to help us out, extending us patience as we sampled many flavors before deciding on several. My mom got the Dominican vanilla (Leo made sure to note the vanilla came straight from the island) and another flavor that had blueberry compote and graham crackers. I happily settled on the Taro monster which was a rift in cookies and cream that did not disappoint. They certainly weren’t shy with the mix ins but when I really got to bites with just the base I almost wish there were a bit less Oreos because the Taro base was absolutely amazing ! We also left with two cookies: the double chocolate and the chocolate chip walnut cookie which gave Levain’s a solid run for their money! We also left with a pint of the coquito boozy ice cream that was truly incredible. My mom and I were thoroughly impressed and can’t wait to return to try other

I just had to come back and rave about this sweet spot! Last time I was here, I had the most incredible ice cream (and I'm not even exaggerating!), and today I decided to try the hot chocolate with a toasted marshmallow and whipped cream - WOW. It was rich, chocolatey, and everything a hot chocolate should be. Not watered down or lacking flavor like some places can be. Paired it with a chocolate chip walnut cookie and I was in heaven! If you're in the neighborhood, DO NOT miss out on this gem. Can't wait to come back and try more treats!
